Endless Cycle
The signal has sounded
A life is relinquished
The weight of longevity
A light extinguished
What was the beginning
is now the end
but what was once old
becomes new again
The cycle of life
for some is finite
and for others it is
a chance to reunite
Cultures do vary
and many will reincarnate
into whom Karma
has deemed appropriate
A life lived respectful of all
Humans and animals equally
One never knows who theyโll be
Anyone or anything conceivably
For others the end is the finish
Nothing left but the black
Life has been lived
There is no going back
None of us know
Until we are finally there
Tomorrow is another day
Hopefully we wll be somewhere

There being a circle of life means it doesn’t have a definitive end or a beginning. Hooray for us serpents eating our own tails! Huzzah!
๐ thatโs right!
YES. (I don’t know why that needed an agreement. We already agreed!)
If one believes in karma, surely life is an endless cycle! Beautifully brought out! ๐๐
Thank you my friend. I believe in Karma ๐๐
Wonderful! Same here. ๐๐
What was once old…Thank you
My pleasure Barbara! Thanks for reading ๐
it is amazing to be part of a race that has diverse beliefs yet all wanting the same. the energy in your words really fortifies and informs of the beauty of life and death, not to fear it
Thanks Gina. We’re all headed to the same destination but choose to take different paths. Absolutely nothing wrong with that ๐๐
very true, may each find peace on the chosen path and we need to be more respectful of that too, why i loved your words so much
Thank you my dear friend ๐
Circle of life goes on and on!
