Eviction

Eviction

My world once full of color

Is now monochrome

There is a chill in the air

Where sunshine once lived

In the place we called home

Your voice lingering still

In the empty rooms

Memories from the past

Evicted so cruelly

Now living in tombs

Thanks Gina. I always think that in a break up, the one who is left is the one who holds on to the memories. The other just forgets 😢

they choose to forget. being a keeper of memories doesn’t work when you have no one to share it with. that’s how i feel some days

Yes, Gina. I’m so thankful that I can put it in words in this way. Keeping these thoughts to yourself is not healthy

    A powerful last finale stanza
    “Memories from the past
    Evicted so cruelly
    Now living in tombs”
