Infatuated

Infatuated

What happened last night

I must have been moonstruck

I felt so giddy

My head was dizzy

Was it just good luck?

I met you for the first time

And something just clicked

I released my fears

And shed no tears

It was as if you were handpicked

My excitement I could barely contain

I wanted to broadcast from rooftops

To the entire population

But out came only a murmuration

I might be just a little insane

this made me think of walking into a favourite cake shop and that one slice calling out to me.

When doubt comes in…why do we do that to our self. Good post Christine.
