Growing

Growing

Their love immature
Allowing resentment to build
They could not see the forest
for the lumber to be milled
Like a motor revving
Their anxiety up and down
Arguments were common
Always a fight for the crown
Needing perspective
they went different ways
Space across the miles
And clarity through the haze
Removed from the battlefield
A time to think
A metamorphosis occurred
As they stood on the brink
Reborn and reenergized
Independent and strong
They come full circle
Back to where they belong

Beautiful Poem. True love matures. It’s best not to quit too early.
