Spirit Animal
I am the fox, her spirit animal
An enchanting creature
With plenty of mystique
I am faithful and loyal
And I will teach her
To not follow the pack
Be true to herself first
Be strong and mettlesome
Make wise decisions
And she will be well versed
To be brave and fearless
Always thinking outside the box
Because she is special and
Sweet, one of a kind
She too is a beautiful fox

So I don’t want to be the party pooper here after all the poem was truly beautiful but the image clever but a tad scary. Too many video nasties growing up I guess, sorry.

Oh Christine, I love your poem and how used the fox as a spiritual symbol for the girl . Such an interesting piece I’ve got a fav’ song for you, Xavier Rudd’s classic tune, “Spirit Bird” I cry every time I hear this song.
