Healing Garden

Healing Garden

She followed the circled path
in the Healing Garden
as it was so called
Her desire for silence
to let go of fears
she noticed it was walled

The bougainvillea spilled
over with its deep pink blossoms
A sight for tired eyes
Fragrant jasmine intertwined
with tree foliage
as if dropping from the skies

Resting on the white bench
She drew peaceful energy
from the surroundings
Her need for serenity
almost complete and
no longer compounding

The stillness of the moment
Brought clarity to jumbled thoughts
Her journey now obstacle free
Meditation and solidarity
Simple solutions for troubled minds
and no more need to flee
