The Path
The chosen path
to enlightenment
Littered with debris
and tangled weeds
Each step
eradicating
the overgrowth
and sowing new seeds
Every stalk plucked
and foreign bodies
destroyed
Purposeful and precise
At journey’s end
rewards are reaped
Without the work
just a fool’s paradise
