Green
Breathe in, breathe out
you’ll be okay
Keep walking forward
There is not much to say
It couldn’t have been
any more awkward
Yes, I am young
Inexperienced in love
and still quite green
But who could have known?
that he was a man with a wife
and she caused a terrible scene
She called me names
that I know I am not
while he stood there silent
Speechless and hurt
I was very afraid
she would get violent
He did nothing to help
Letting me take her barrage
He was the one to blame
I left in tears, my heart broken
He, a liar, a cheat, a seducer
Yet I am the one bearing shame

It was really good, I like all of your work Christine it’s fabulous 💗
The pain is powerful, betrayal awful.
It’s a harsh way to learn, I agree
