Deep Decline

Deep Decline

Who are you today?
Is it Jekyll or Hyde?
Good cop or bad cop?
This game I cannot bide
Each day a crap shoot
Already out on the ledge
No lucky in this dip
I’m teetering on the edge

Ephemeral happiness
lasting just two days
Then it was back fighting
and your ugly ways
A referee needed
our similarities forgotten
Too busy with anger
to see it’s turned rotten

Whoa! Sounds like even a referee might not be able to make the right call.

Lol! No worries. I guess if you were warring with yourself you’d need a therapist rather than a referee 😁
