Rising Sun – A Quadrille
As it finally breaks the dawn
stealing from the night
It wakens the sleeping birds
as it bathes the world in light
The sun’s great yellow orb
rising slowly in the big sky
flanked by cotton ball clouds
sitting way up there on high
