Unrequited Love

Unrequited Love

Unrequited Love
Is it real
or a fantasy?
An unfulfilled wish
that will always
be a fallacy?

Convinced
of its truth
and sworn to its merit
Blinded to reality
giving hopes
and wishes credit

Resolute in beliefs
and sure of
the final outcome
Love conquers all
even in dreams
and never succumbs

“Convinced by its truth “… Yes sometimes we make it seem that way
