Breakdown

Breakdown

Three days of silence
since we argued
Not unusual for us
but see no signs
of intended repair

As if charting
the breakdown
of our marriage
Transitioning
to nowhere

Dark thoughts
random yet broad
Preparing for the worst
Something, anything
Considering my welfare

Christine Bolton - Poetry for Healing Β©

Word Prompts

Broad - WotD
Transition - RDP
Random - FOWC

Sorry, I wrote my comment before seeing this is Fiction (I have cataracts)–I’m VERY glad it’s fiction. Your blog is rich and full! And I LOVE the header image πŸ™‚ (Blue is my fave color)

Fleur, thank you so much. You are very sweet to care. I have found myself in this situation in my past so I feel I can write about it. I’m happy you like my blog – it means a lot to me πŸ™‚πŸ’•

You’re most welcome, Christine–I too, along with many, have been on that rough road; and it’s a good thing when we share authentically–it helps others we may never meet personally…our mission should be to Encourage, yes? πŸ™‚ <3 Huge Blessings to YOU!

I did Jim. Thank you. Many years ago. πŸ™‚ I mentioned it was fiction at the end, so nobody would worry.
