Relinquishing

Relinquishing

Slipping into
the liquid darkness
so deep it could drown me
Allowing it swallow and
wash away the torment
It is where I want to be

Let the coldness
of the water take me
to another place
I will not be missed
Remembered, maybe
Leaving just a trace
