Powerfully described. I remember wanting to say to my husband, as I was leaving, “you’ve spent 3 years doing everything you could to scare me into leaving, and today’s the day”. But I was still too scared to speak.
That is so sad. 😔Oh what is it with some men and their power over women?
They’re bullies.
A tragedy played out all too often… and not everyone has access to even that small and temporary sactuary.
Yes, isn’t that the truth. I feel so bad for someone in that situation. 😔
