Over and Out

Over and Out

You glare at me
with a look that could sour
grapes on the vine
Full of contempt
and just a little crazy
I take it as a sign

Our affair is history
Friendship notwithstanding
Your words are now snide
I have zero tolerance
for this excursion to lunacy
I never signed up for that ride

‘…with a look that could sour grapes on a vine’ – brilliant!

Thanks! I thought it more poetic than to say a look that could have stopped a clock! 🙂

I hear ya! And wanted to let you know I moved from “word-whelmed”–keeping a lower profile, hopefully, but had to follow you again 🙂 <3
