Mish is hosting D'Verse Poets tonight and has prompted us with beautiful art by Beverly Dyer I chose her painting of the Owl as it is a symbol of wisdom. Sometimes we forget how wise we are, particularly when we lose sight of ourselves.
Nice line: “When did you start to do stupid?” I keep asking that about myself as well.

Thanks so much Beverly. 🙂💕 A good look in the mirror sometimes is all you need to put the focus back on you and what you have allowed yourself to become.
this could be me! Beautiful Christine! xoxo
Thank you so much. Many of us I fear Carol Anne 🙂
Excellent interpretation Christie, of this piece you chose of Beverly’s art. Wonderful choice! Owl’s project calm wisdom.
Thanks Rob. The Owl was also my high school mascot! 🙂
Much wisdom in the third stanza! It’s sad when we repeat, repeat without seeing another way to make a change.
Thanks Misth. I really appreciate it 🙂💕
