Moody Sky
Gone the dramatic
crimson sunrise
that brought birth
to the day
The lightness
of pursuing
powder puff clouds
taking breath away
Now a setting sun
shines brightness
on the pewter lake
in a twilight of silvery grey
A mood for every sky
The shimmering stillness
of serenity and calm
ends a perfect day

You’re most welcome 🙏
love the way your poem winds and flows into the crevices of the heart. pewter lake resonates, the state I live in here is the place pewter originates.
Thanks Gina 🙂 That is so interesting you mention that. I chose the word pewter because the water looks like it at sunset. I learned something today! 🙂💕
i loved the connection to something close to home.
