Uneven Terrain
The road is uneven hindering progress Slowing my stride I tread carefully not to slip Concentrating on each thought and decisions made What had brought Me here? Again A lesson to be learned What did I miss? Always on this path Going somewhere, nowhere Bent out of shape from missteps and life’s callous punishments I fear I will always walk with a limp Christine Bolton - Poetry for Healing © Sue Vincent's Weekly Write/Photo Word Prompt: Callous - FOWC
Woah, I love this angle
Ah, it makes you think doesn’t it? Thanks Jude. ☺️
That it does. My pleasure
#BeenThereBefore or… #IStillAm?
I think it applies to most of us Jay! 😕
😕
I fear I will
always walk
with a limp!
Wow, what a thought provoking poem
Yes Sadje, none of us are perfect, are we? Life can be hard for many 😢
I agree with you Christine
What a beautiful poem and picture. Where is this beautiful place?
Thanks Regina. I’m not sure as the host of the challenge usually provides the photos. Probably somewhere in the UK
The path spirals, but sometimes we walk in circles, missing the turn.
Oh indeed we do, don’t we? 😕
Often 😉
