Well, if you live near the Gulf of Mexico I would agree with you. Can’t bring myself to go into “Brown” water! Unless you live on the West Florida coast. Most of that is blue, isn’t it? We had some issues in lakes near Austin with that Flesh eating bacteria. Really Creepy!! So have you been exposed to any of the hurricanes this season?

Loved this!!! You are teasing and tempting me and that’s not nice since I’m in Texas!! Ha! But I can close my eyes and dream of So. Calif beaches or Hawaii!! Beautifully penned, Dear!! I’m thinking you should expand this and really turn up the heat so you can make us pick up the phone and make reservations!! LOL!!! Bellissimo, Christine, Bellissimo!!

I’m so happy you liked it Chuck. I take it you are nowhere near the coast of TX then. In a way that’s a blessing today with the hurricane closing in. I used to live in Dallas for 14 years, so I can tawk Taixan! ☺️👍
Oh Gad, Christine you have me in stitches! Aww, I knew thar was a reeson I luved tawking with U 2!!! LOL!!!
Yeah, I’m in Georgetown about 35 miles north of Austin. No worries about the hurricane. Yes, nowhere near the TX Coast. Not a fan of the Gulf – having lived in San Diego and experienced the beaches of Hawaii with blue waters and big waves. When you’ve had chocolate other candy doesn’t quite measure up! Ha!

Yes, I see what you mean. I like it because its warm but in recent years all that red tide and flesh-eating bacteria has put me off even going to the beach and its just down the way 😕
Red Tide and flesh eating bacteria??? What part of the country are you living in?? Have never heard of flesh eating bacteria on West or East coast?

That’s the Gulf of Mexico these days. It gets so heated with global warming and that’s what happens 😳😦

Yes I’m on the West Coast and the water in turquoise. Beautiful and sparkling clear. 🥰
