Now when autumn and darker nights are here I have to go out to watch the sky.

Yes, it’s the first thing I do when I step outside after dark. I love the way the moon is still so low in the sky by the time it gets dark. The crescent moon over the past several days looked like a hook you could just reach up and touch ☺️
I am chuckling…..read it through once and thought the first line said “onion straddles the sky” and I thought….well….okay….I love the rest of the description…..hmmmm…..and then I read it again! ORION! Aha!
Loved it the second time but my error, my aging eyes, have me smiling and what I thought you’d written! 🙂

Oh that’s so funny Lillian!! I always see the word silver when its actually sliver ☺️ LOL!
Beautiful images…match made in heaven !
Thank you Grace 🙂
I like the unexpected “shadow of his smile” – catches you off guard and sets the tone beautifully.
Thank you so much Dora! I appreciate it. I was humanizing both Orion and the moon ☺️

Lovely imagery: I love seeing Orion at this time of year. Probably one of my favourite things about winter!
Thank you dear Ingrid. I must bed lucky because I see Orion all the time ☺️
You must be further south? I can’t even find my way around town, let alone the night sky 🙈
Lol! How did you end up in Prague Ingrid?
I’m in Slovenia, my husband is Slovenian so after 10 years in UK and 4 years in Spain he made it back home!
Oh I didn’t remember that very well. Sorry 😐. That’s a nice story. We all end up somewhere else don’t we? 🥰
Another nice one, Christine B-)
Thanks so much Jay ☺️
