Still Here

Still Here

Your essence remains
In this place where we would come
Like an intoxicating fragrance
still lingering in the stillness of night
I sense your presence all around
and tension leaves my body
A slight movement of leaves
reassuring, calming
The breeze caresses my skin
Reminding me of your touch
Moonlight reflects on the water
Illuminating where we once stood
Promising our love to each other
Forever and evermore
And I still do
You are gone from me now
but you are always here

So beautiful.. I remember after my Mum died a lovely breeze blew in one night.. I felt her spirit on the breeze so this really resonated…

Thank you so much. I think we have all experienced something like that at some point. It is comforting for many whether you believe there is a presence or not. Maybe it’s nature helping us heal. We never really know. ☺️ Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday! 💕
