It occurred to me recently that if stupidity was a crime then almost half of America would be in jail. We were over the worst of COVID 19, fully vaccinated and practically living mask-free. Once our grocery store chain stopped sanitizing the carts and employees removed their masks, I was quite giddy thinking the freedom we had been hoping for was actually here and feeling proud that we had kicked the deadly virus in the butt. As more and more were vaccinated the freer we would all be.
But no! It was short-lived. The virus deniers, primarily right-wing Trump followers, who refuse to wear masks and get the vaccine, are now going down like ten pins. I suppose it would be fair to say that we could almost call it the Republican virus because they seem to be the ones contracting it. I blame Trump, his sycophants and Fox News. They have done a disservice to America by promoting a deadly lie. Just sayin’. What do you think?

You have the culprits named for sure! If only their followers would STOP Drinking the Koolaid! I hate these Morons that get interviewed on TV – We have the freedom, The government has no right to tell us what to do!! It’s called Public Health and they are as wrong as thinking that 2+2=5. Your freedom Stops – when you start endangering those around you and the Public Health and Welfare. You can’t fire a gun into a room full of people and then claim, I wasn’t intending to hit or kill anyone and expect not to be convicted of murder/manslaughter. That is called – Depraved Heart murder under the law. This is exactly what the anti-vaccine and no mask crowd are doing – they are participating in the process of exposing others and themselves to Covid D-Variant and death or serious illness. It is criminal whether enforced or not. It is not your Right or Freedom to do something that has an extremely high probability of hurting or causing illness to others when it can be easily prevented. This is a perfect example of self-righteous Christian hypocrites who claim to be following the Teachings of Jesus and the Golden Rule doing the worst thing possible thing to innocent people around them. Those who do not do what is possible to prevent the spread of Covid are heartless, selfish, fools and brainwashed sheeple believing the lies of the biggest liars. God deliver us from the self-righteous, heartless and intentionally ignorant fools in our country – especially from the ones that vote for the liars and deniers.

You got that exactly right. And now, at least were I live, wearing masks is, once again, a mandate. We came close, but stupidity and politics are preventing us from getting to the finish line.
I know right? Maybe, seeing as it seems to be a Republican virus now, there will be less Republicans at the polls and the whole voting bs they are trying to put in place will be pointless 🤣🤣🤣

It is sad and it angers me. Yesterday I read something like ‘of all the things I learned in grade school, avoiding cooties is the last thing I expected to use’. How sad and true. I really worry about our children.
