Naïveté

Naïveté

A wave of the hand
An inspiring conversation
An expectant mind
Who would lay blame for the
Hope carried in a naïve heart
Or was it just a figment of imagination
Sending you on a path to nowhere?

I’ve often been accused of being naïve. I identify a little with this.
