The Sun Will Indeed Shine Again – A Haibun

The Sun Will Indeed Shine Again

There have been two memorable occasions in my life where I almost fell to my knees to give thanks for a job. Both were presented to me at extremely difficult times.

In those moments I had almost given up hope for a change in my luck.  In one instance I had lost direction in an endeavor and was desperate to get back to what I knew best.  In another, my world as I knew it, had been turned upside down and the rug had been pulled from under me.

Both new opportunities were offered to me by amazing people I had never met before.  Their warmth and kindness, not knowing what had brought me there, was genuine.  I felt the gentle push of the Universe as it cleared the path for me.  I will always be thankful to those people and companies.

Sunshine surely comes
When you will least expect it
Because it’s meant to

How amazing when that happens… and getting a new opportunity must be great… I have never been in such a position… I have been with the same company for most of my life, had a small detour before coming back.

It was a amazing in both instances. When a company is good to you, you always want to stay. Maybe that’s why you have been there so long ☺️

Thanks dear Bev. One company is internationally known and was a pleasure to work for. Supportive and encouraging. Always promoted from within. I loved it there. The other is locally and state known and has the same corporate culture. A pleasure working there too. Happy thanksgiving! Hope you have a lovely day/weekend☺️❤️

It comes to the chosen ones. One may not expect it but one’s good deeds precede the blessings that come your way. Happy Thanksgiving Christine!.

Well that was a sincere haibun…and so interesting to read, with emotion climbing until the last, powerful line in your haiku, which gave real pause for thought — well done.
