Chalk and Cheese – A Quadrille

Chalk and Cheese

Your words are always barked orders
They challenge rather than inquire
Intonation with a smile
can sand a rough edge on a bad day
Ambivalence shows your arrogance
It’s as if you speak another language
And we are as different as chalk and cheese

What a contrast of a character. Speaking of another language caps it.

I feel the angst in this. I had never heard that saying before researching for the prompt. You’ve used it well.
