In Limbo
That longed for moment when sleep comes
Taking you from that state of limbo
where emotions are tethered
and toy with your mind
You submissively slip into slumber
allowing the heart to finally rest
Until dreams come
and you wake in a different realm

Excellent poem. The transitions of sleep are most interesting. Going from anxious thoughts to sleep to crazy dreams!
It is like a magical mystery tour every night! ☺️ Thanks Dwight

Lovely write. I like the sound of it – all those “s” sounds are so soft and gentle, and comforting.
