Drug of Choice

Drug of Choice

Resisting cleverly spoken words
designed to charm in charismatic tones
Slowly drawn in to your game of tease
As you strut your stuff with plumage puffed
I find myself unable to resist
Captivated and willingly seduced
I become hooked on you
My new drug of choice

Well it was a choice, so willingly done. But an excess is too much, sometimes. Thanks for joining in.

I think love too often works as a drug… choice or not… soon it’s not about choice but dependence.

Making a choice is as much about feeling as it is about weighed options, especially when our hearts (or loins) are involved. Very well done! Brava!

You’ve captured how we’re lured in and seduced really well. As you strut your stuff with plumage puffed – This line made me laugh out loud 😂

And it certainly is a choice but worth it in our lust-addled folly 🙂

Love and/or infatuation can certainly be addictive.
