Ice Man – A Quadrille

Ice Man

Being closed off and aloof
it is impossible for anyone
to break through the deafening silence
Your cold, frigid heart
will likely never thaw
What will it take to reach you once more
Or will you forever be the ice man
Frozen in time

Unfortunately, some hearts are hard to thaw. As, a reader I can feel the coldness.

sounds like my ex-husband. It’s so unfortunate the thickness of the ice ever-thickens 🙁

Yes, it’s very ugly to look at, isn’t it? 😕

I think once frozen like that, thaw will never come.

Yea, I agree. Why use your energy picking away at someone that doesn’t want to thaw.

A perfect picture of the Ice Man for sure!!! It’s hard to survive in a relationship with this type of person isn’t it? Your first three lines say it all! Someone has to want to change and it seems that Ice Men are frozen to the way they want it. Bellissimo, Christine,Bellissimo!! Thanks for the seeds of inspiration!!!

Sometimes we need a bigger flame to melt those types of hearts. I like the use of “ice man”.

You’ve described a socially hostile person.

I think he’s just anti social Sadje. Better he stays iced up and out of the way 🤣
