Idioms for Idiots – A Quadrille

Idioms for Idiots

We play the game
Idioms for idiots
Turning the proverbial page
Let’s start again fresh
and put problems in the rear-view mirror
Tomorrow is a new day
The revolving door of denial spins
As we squander scraps of our sanity
Here we go again

Thank you Gillena. I loved your poem too. The imagery of the earth shaking her hips and lips was fun. I have trouble commenting on your blog sometimes. Sorry for commenting this way. Thanks Ron for hosting this sidebar! ☺️💕

I like the way you played with words in your quadrille, Christine, and I wish we could ‘put problems in the rear-view mirror’. I don’t fancy the ‘revolving door of denial’, though.

The bottom spins of the vortex grow ever smaller. I wonder when we’ll hit bottom?
