One Liner Wednesday – Personal Growth

I don’t know about you, but I have had my fair share of those awkward texts where one party has misunderstood the other. It could be the shortness of the text when the other was expecting more, maybe. Or the wrong use of language that could be taken as a slight rather than a compliment. Perhaps even being called the wrong name. Online dating alert!

I am embarrassed to say that I have even argued with my husband via text and the texts got longer and longer and more painful and accusatory. It was really quite stupid, I know, but these are the times we live in. It has become acceptable to write to another using poor grammar, misspelled words, using coded language and ending messages with silly pictures, rather than calling. So I am refusing to do it anymore. I am giving myself the power by not responding. If someone can’t write properly, he or she’s a dope and I feel sorry for them. So there. Stick that in a text, why dontcha!

Have a great Wednesday.

I’m glad to say that I even text using punctuation and correct grammar 😛

Exactly, although sometimes I don’t trust Siri’s hearing! Lol

No you can’t rely on the hearing of either Siri or Google
