Achromatic Existence

Achromatic Existence

Your blackness
sullies my clear mind
My whiteness dilutes
your darkness
to a neutral grey
Clinging to
a colorless world
that has become
the oxygen
we breathe
into this dysfunctional
codependency
An anemic sadness
void of pigment
Trust severed
like an amputated
albinistic limb
Limping through an
achromatic existence
