Claustrophobia

Claustrophobia

Running scared
Frantic and confused
Through the door
Into another room
Each one disused

Open, close
What does this mean?
Open again
Am I in a maze
or is this a dream?

I can’t escape
Windows are locked
Adrenalin pumping
but screams are silent
My voice blocked

Anxiety taking hold
I cannot catch my breath
Darkness comes
Swallowing me whole
Suffocating into death
