Why do people think it’s OK to ask you if you are still on a diet? Is it curiosity or just plain rude to make you feel guilty if you have fallen off the wagon? Either way it can be irritating. So I am here with a smart-ass answer for you to use the next time you are asked.
Have a great Wednesday!

Good Wednesday morning! I haven’t touched on the subject of dieting lately, even though sometimes I feel that is all I think about. I have probably tried every one that has been marketed over the years and have tricked my body into thinking all kinds of nonsense. At the end of the day the only thing that really works is to eat less and exercise more. I hear you groan but it is so good to get some of those poisons out of your body. If you can’t manage that then maybe you can convince yourself you are actually doing it like this funny card I found,

It is December 1st and we are in the holiday season! Shopping for gifts, planning big family get-togethers and looking for excuses to eat more without the guilt. So here is my suggestion.

Starting tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day here in the USA, we will be officially in The Holiday Season. From now until New Years Day we are, most likely, going to eat and drink with abandon so it is important that we remember to exercise to compensate for the extra food and drink we will be consuming. Right? So here is my suggestion. Kill two birds with one stone and save time.

Being a poetry blog I attract a certain kind of reader. I regard lyrics as poetry and like to participate in Song Lyric Sunday each week because I enjoy researching the origin of songs and the emotion behind the lyrics. There I find a different kind of reader. One Liner Wednesdays, on the other hand, are my release and I look for some humor each week rather than trying to impress with something profound. I have discovered that whenever I go down the road of dieting I attract a completely different reader. I wonder who will visit today. Welcome everybody and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
This is a pretty good excuse if your looking for one!
