Tag: hedonism

Like silk on my skin
soft and seductive
an exquisite sensation
and so very destructive
Stroking my shoulders
with your nimble fingers
feathery, light
Letting the touch linger
I want to sing hallelujahs
Take me to the church
Drowning in erotica
before you I do smirch
Gloried in the commonplace
made weird, I am at a loss
for words to describe
this, which I feared
A hedonistic existence
of pleasures fulfilled
regardless of its effect
on lives to rebuild
Looking for escape
from blurred lines
unable to distinguish
or read the danger signs
