Thief
He hides beneath his black cloak
A thief, corrupt in his actions
Seeing only the glitter
Shining bright
Appealing, flashy
Preying on innocence
He steals from the naive
the needy and the oblivious
Smelling their fear and insecurity
Knowing when to strike
Feeding on their vulnerability
and without penitence
