Hard Work
It stings, cuts, snipes and slashes
Pounds the brain
Twisting stomachs
In an intricate macramé of knotted concern
Takes breath from bodies
Blinds eyes
Bruises souls
It expands the heart
And it also breaks it
Love
The most arduous, gut-wrenching
Piece of work
Ever!
