One Liner Wednesday – I’m Not Moving

I’m a very passive driver. My days of flying down a highway are long gone especially as people actually carry guns in their cars and rifles are visible hanging in their trucks. To me that is very scary as road rage is a real thing. However, I hasten to add, that I am not scared if I am confronted in any way when off the highway. So when I came across this one liner, I thought “Yes, that’s me, and I have all the time in the world” Go ahead and make my day! 😳 Can you relate?

  1. I love this. Last week or week before I got back to work after lunch and was sitting in my car responding to some messages before going in. This vehicle parked diagonal facing me waiting for me to move. And stared at me and stared at me as I was sending my texts. Nothing gave me more pleasure than to turn my car off/exit and lock the door and walk off to work.
    Is that wrong of me?????

    1. Lol! no! All they had to do was ask and stay or move on. The threatening looks and honks are too much. I bet that did give you pleasure 🤣🤣

  2. I had come home from a business trip, and I’m walking through the parking lot at Midway Airport (which was very small) to my car. I got the sudden sense that I was being followed by someone who wanted my parking spot. I got to my car, opened the trunk and put my stuff in, closed the trunk, and walked back into the airport…

    1. That’s funny! I honestly don’t understand why people just don’t say excuse me and ask. It’s like stalking and intimidation otherwise 😧

  3. I had a rather scary situation occur yesterday with a truck flying down the shoulder, and when I signaled to get into the right turn lane, they almost ran into me. The rage they were opining was rather silly. It’s amazing what happens to some people behind the wheel of a vehicle. Reminds me of that very old goofy cartoon. I digress…

    1. It’s the road rage that scares me Jeff. Maybe we should all watch some more Goofy ☺️
