One Liner Wednesday – Dog’s Dinner

If you have large dogs, as I do, then you understand that nothing is safe on the kitchen counter tops. Yesterday I had roughly two pounds of fish on mine that I was preparing for dinner. I left the kitchen for a nano second and on return one of my black Labs had scarfed the lot. Probably in one gulp knowing her! Needless to say, dinner was late while I had to thaw out something else.

      1. I remember leaving the Christmas turkey to cool having taken it out of the oven. I pushed it right back on the worktop so the dogs couldn’t reach. When I came downstairs, the GSD was sitting innocently on her bed whilst the rough collie had a drumstick sticking out of his mouth and loving it enormously. That was all he had though as the meat had stayed on the bird. Thing was he was too small to reach and it was the GSD who had passed on the blame!!
