One Liner Wednesday – Maybe Just a Little Bit Cynical?

I said a silent “ouch” when I came across this not-so-happy statement the other day. I’m sure there are many that would agree with it but I’m hoping most readers will just smile and say it doesn’t apply to them. What do you think?

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

  1. Not my own experience….but I know a few cynics. I think Goldfinch was a bit of a cynic when it came to the word “love”. He could be romantic and very charming and very very erotic and was generally just very very very gorgeous and lovable, but he did not like the L-word. When I used it (and I tend to use it liberally) …he tended to frown.

    1. I too can be cynical but to a point. Thankfully it’s big about many things. I’m generally a happy go lucky person. I understand it but would never carry it around like some people do. Do you still hear from goldfinch?

  2. How sad one must be to believe this is the way life is for them. My heart goes out to anyone who sees this is correct. Don’t lose your faith in the Lord’s goodness. no matter what difficulties come our way.
