The breeze unseasonably warm Although I feel the change coming There is still a hint of night Jasmine in the air Its pretty blooms stark white Against the dark foliage How I love its fragrance Strong and rich and decadent as the sultry night
I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

That’s my second hint of jasmine this morning, Christine, and now, after reading your delightful poem, I want to smell it again. I have a long wait…

I feel exactly the same as you do about jasmine, even the rice.
