Indigo Sky – A Quadrille

Indigo Sky

Early evening sun
descends below the horizon 
Twilight lingers
just long enough to herald
an indigo sky
studded with sequined stars
As it moves center stage
the day prepares to take its final bow 
A snow moon rises high above 
Applauding the final act
