Merril is hosting Meet at the Bar at D'Verse and has asked us to share The Cherita.
“Cherita is the Malay word for story or tale. A cherita consists of a single stanza of a one-line verse, followed by a two-line verse, and then finishing with a three-line verse.”
The order may also be inverted or turned upside-down: 3-2-1.
I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.
Christine

Watership Down has always been one of my favorite books. The movie is wonderful, too.

Think you can find it on Netflix. It was computer generated rabbits, and it really brought them to life. It’s very lovely but sad story isn’t it?

Is that a movie or a series? It is, and the animation in the original is wonderful as well.💛

It’s a 4 part series and it is on Netflix ☺️. I may watch it again.

Thank you Grace. I regard those sightings as little rewards. Moments in the day to stop and wonder. 🥰

There are so many rabbits, deer, the occasional mountain roaming our small city, everyone here needs to read this!!! Yes, beware the headlights.
Thanks so much for leaving me a comment!

Thanks Helen. It’s sad isn’t it? When they look at headlights they freeze and then it’s too late to run 😢

I love this vivid image, and the way a cherita allows for saying much in few words.

Thanks Rosemary ☺️. It also helps not having an account syllables!
