Business Concluded

It was a reach
but I knew there
would be nothing
to grab on to this time 
Clutching at straws
Wondering what if

Disappointing?
Yes!
But now I know
for sure
What I missed
was not you

I thought it was
moments with you
that left the hole
in my heart
I realize now it was
partnership that
I missed

Not you
Not the person
who caused so much pain?
I was missing togetherness
Now the light is on
and I am no longer in darkness

I am free at last
to pursue happiness
with another
The karma is finished
and all debts and lessons
have been paid

      1. Yes, it is very empowering and satisfying to come to that decision and to know that it is right for you even if it is a painful one to have to make!!! Not always easy to stay in touch with your inner self??
