Abstract Thoughts


My thoughts today
will be abstract
Deliciously twirling
freedom to diffract
 
Temptation will not come
I see only light
Colors swirling
a rainbow of delight
 
Escaping the prison
of my own mind
Promising freedom
from the confined
 
Floating weightlessly
Across the sky looking down
Reminding myself
It is there I could drown
 
Escaping responsibly
Holding on to my words
Flying like an eagle
At peace with the birds
