Her enthusiasm unwavering The choice unpopular and decision unsound Yet she chomped on the bit When he had come back into her life with a desire to win her back
He had barked at her and ripped the heart from her body Stomped on it until it was in pieces and walked away She had mourned for months Sad and broken
Here he stood in front of her again Making nice, without apology or even a hint of regret But she brushed it aside with a giggle and once more she was vulnerable The only conclusion She must be mad
