Vista

Clicking of hungry birds 
tumbling in the frozen air
A stream of ice reflecting
the pink sky of daybreak
as sun lights earth in a flare
 
A breathtaking vista
the beholder enraptured
with serenity of the moment
Pausing to accept the gift
the eyes had captured

      1. I’ll take that as a wonderful compliment Christine, and I’ve never tried writing a duet, but I’ve often thought it would be nice to have a writer here beside me, to share ideas with… sometimes my bubble feels like I’m in my own cocoon……
