Perspective 

Cloistered in silence
far from the noise
pensive thoughts
dance in front of me
I see them with clarity 
Obscure concepts 
without wings
Once sparking
With energy
Now fizzle and die
Lifeless and empty
Slowly consumed
by a flicker of flames
