Prism

Prism

I love to gaze
at your face
A perfect structure
Yet at times
twisted in pain
or anger
Your beauty
fragmented
into pieces
that do not fit
Distorted views
through the prism
of your fears

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

    1. You are so right Reena. We are never the one whole thing that the other wishes us to be and vice versa. It’s all the curves and edges which make us fascinating ☺️

  1. Its lovely how you brought out the fact that we are not one smooth surface but are made up of so many angles influenced by our experiences.
