Shifting Sands

Shifting Sands

Shifting sands
have no empathy
for the confused
An arid expanse
Misunderstood
complicated
and layered
Unsurmountable
arduous
Exhausting
body and soul
A cage-less prison
with no escape

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

  1. Dear Christine,
I do hope you are familiar with the old saying, “It’s easier to ask for Forgiveness than Permission”???😊
So, this is Me asking for Forgiveness, in advance!! 😢 I will explain after I tell you how Awesome Your – Shifting Sands is and how powerful and magical your words are, especially for me! Your words painted a masterful portrait!!! Bellissimo!

So, I’ve been a Bad Boy and need to beg your forgiveness for letting your words tempt me and my words into an “Unapproved Duet”!!! 😢😢

Your words are strong with me, Dear!!! I want you to know I’m very remorseful, but can’t lie that I’m not also thrilled that I was Overwhelmed by your words!! Your words help make me a better writer, Dear! I hope you will still speak to me???😢 If you might like to see what I did, in spite of it all, let me know via email.
    xoxo
