Go Swiftly – A Quadrille

Go Swiftly

Go swiftly
that I might mourn sooner
Leave me quickly so I will be free
from your discontent
You belong here no longer
I wish you well
in your pursuit of perfection
My loss is growth
already healing wounds
carved with your callousness

  1. In other words, “hit the road Jack.” “carved by callousness” is a great way to describe what people to each other. I wish her a quick(er) healing.

    1. Thanks dear Ron. Yes sadly we have all been there, I think. I envy those who haven’t.
